Lightfolk Wellness Retreat
Located in Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula green wedge belt, Lightfolk Wellness Retreat is nestled in the dense hinterland of native flora and fauna abutting the Fern Gully rainforest.
Designed by Architecture AND (formerly Andrew Burns Architecture), the project includes the refurbishment of existing buildings and construction of new facilities to support a range of activities including yoga, wellness and treatment rooms, restaurant, accommodation rooms and various workshops.
With a strong emphasis on sustainability, the project takes a sympathetic approach in relation to its environmental footprint and is designed to be carbon neutral in operation and exceed best practice ESD standards.
Fontic undertook significant planning and design management relating to the development planning controls and overlays.
