Designed by Kennedy Nolan, Nightingale Leftfield development features 28 apartments, including compact 34 sqm ‘teilhaus’ studios and spacious two-bedroom homes. The project upholds Nightingale Housing’s sustainability principles, achieving a 7.5-star NatHERS thermal rating, operating fossil fuel-free, and prioritising sustainable transport with car-share access.
Committed to sustainability and social responsibility, 20% of the apartments have been pre allocated to an affordable housing provider and purchaser priority is given to key service workers, individuals with a disability and Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders.
The building takes full advantage of its access to rich afternoon sunlight, with a spacious sky garden on the roof, offering residents a peaceful retreat amidst the urban landscape. The carefully chosen materials palette incorporates earthy textures that complement the natural themes throughout the design.
