Balfe Park Lane
Balfe Park Lane
Designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects, Balfe Park Lane is a new multi-residential development committed to a more holistic way of life. Balfe Park Lane presents a new standard of medium-density living comprising 72 residences with direct access to a 3.7acre park.
An environmental focus is at the forefront of this development, with aspirations to empower the community to lower its carbon footprint through the use of solar panels, an electric vehicle charging station and no fossil fuels. Residents are treated to communal courtyards, edible gardens and a large rooftop area for entertaining.
The siteβs past use was a quarry, then a land fill. Fontic worked closely with specialist consultants to investigate, mitigate and remediate significant contamination and sub-surface rock on the site prior to construction of the double basement.
Fontic provided both development and project management services.
